Julie Pacino

Writer/Producer

Julie produced the recent sold-out Off-Broadway production, PHOENIX, starring Julia Stiles and James Wirt at The Cherry Lane Theatre in Manhattan.  She also produced the feature film BILLY BATES, which was released in late 2014.

Julie produced the following, high-profile, high-production-value music videos:  ANOTHER MURDER IN NEW ORLEANS featuring musical legends Bobby Rush and Dr. John with Blinddog Smokin'; WILY KATASO by renowned artists AMADOU AND MARIAM featuring TV ON THE RADIO; BREAD AND CIRCUS by UK artist EBONY BONES.

In 2009, Julie wrote and directed her debut short film ABRACADABRA starring Beth Grant (No Country for Old Men; Donnie Darko), Ty Simpkins (Revolutionary Road; Pride & Glory), James WIrt (Billy Bates), Sean Kanan (The Young and the Restless) and Jennifer DeLia.  The short screened in several international cities including Cannes, Hollywood, and Sao Paulo.

Prior to directing, Julie studied intensively at the New York Film Academy as well as at UCLA on a softball scholarship.

Julie is a partner with Jennifer DeLia in their film production company Poverty Row Entertainment and the two are also partners in their creative branding company, Unofficially Unlimited.  PRE is currently producing the feature film THE FIRST based on the life of Mary Pickford.  Julie is the producer.
